AI Enablement

You don't need to be technical to use AI well.

AI training, workflow design, and systems for nonprofits, small teams, and individuals, built around the people who have to use it.

What this looks like

Teaching

A live session where we work through something your team needs to do, using the context and examples you already have. We practice asking follow-up questions and checking what comes back. I explain the risks as we go.

Building

I make tools that run in your browser. A searchable reference or a calculator can be a standalone file, with no login. A drafting assistant or research tool that calls an AI model needs a service behind it. We agree on accounts, data access, and any running costs before I build.

Untangling

For teams and individuals who have already started, but it isn't working. I find where the workflow breaks, fix that part, and optimize the setup.

What it's for

Most teams I work with are stretched thin, and hiring their way out isn't in the budget.

Hours saved only matter because of what you spend them on instead: the relationships, the mission, and the work only your people can do.

How I work

My focus is enablement. I teach toward the day you don't need me, the same as I have for ten years of freelance work, nearly all of it referred.

Expect documentation you own, prompts you can edit, and an honest answer when the thing you're asking for isn't worth building.

A client asked me a simple question about her website.

Would her writing be used to train AI?

The easy, contextual answer was no, but the true, accurate answer took a few minutes and came with several conditions.

I gave her the accurate one.

What I won't do

I won't help you replace people with software. My north star is human-centered AI enablement.

I won't put your data somewhere you don't understand. Everything I build has a human approval step if you want it.

I won't tell you to use AI when it's unnecessary or inappropriate for the project. That comes up fairly often.

Not sure where to start? Let's chat.

We'll have 45 minutes to talk about what you're trying to do, where you're getting stuck, and whether I can help. You can bring a question or show me what you're working on.
