How this came to be
This design system has been cultivated over the course of 10 or so years, but it really started showing sprouts in 2020 when I transitioned my artistic identity from Jahn Rome to Jackintheway. That’s when the Wayspace name and early color scheme arrived, and it’s been a steady refinement ever since.

Six objects, with each one representing a different quality. Building these prototypes helped me to develop the adventurous, playful, yet tangible feel that Wayspace would come to have.

Six colors, one outline weight, Archivo set heavy, and a lot of squares.
I built it on tokens, so every color has a name and every page reads from the same file. The swatches below come straight out of it.
- Orange
- Blue
- Yellow
- Green
- Salmon
- Brown
- Paper
