Race Day

Released 2026

Run your heart out With your eyes wide open Run your heart out With your eyes wide open

Training with my mind I went insane and then I lied I went and fainted and forgot I made this game to keep me blind

So I made a world of shame and guilt Made my pain into a quilt Took the frame around the Truth And said "the frame is now my will"

You were calling to me Back before the moment was I was so busy playing hide n seek I couldn't feel your Love But we know the drill by now So now I put in reps with every run Turn my body to the Sun Bring the Light here to my tongue

You tapped me on the street And asked me what we're running from I said nothing we're running for something Feel it in my lungs

Can you feel it? Can you feel it? Can you feel it waiting for us? That is us, just the one and only Son

This ain't about what I was This is who I am The time we thought projected out Was never in His plan Were no demons in the jam It never spread onto the bread Never went into the stomach I digest it with the pen

I find the lesson in my friends I make the holy switch to know the tricks The ego uses with it's fear to put me on its list If I choose again and choose the teacher silent up in front I hear the peace of every moment here, quiet as I trust

Plant your feet And wake out of this dream Watch that screen And get back to His peace

Plant your feet And wake out of this dream Watch that screen Just watch that screen

Stick it to the man But do you ever 'preciate the dance? I had, a list of all my plans But now I learn to land on my toes

With grounding activated I'm a statement Of veering from the race, no explanation Although it's clear in retrospect We see the signs we see the path I'm born to trek

We were born to connect With the ground, with our friends With the wind, with the clouds With the water, with our pets With the sun, with our sweat With our food, with the Truth Take a moment to be present with your choice to be dead

We'll end up where we started regardless of our belief Salute the dearly departed Forgot that we're the deceased We fossilize all the screams The cushioning make us weak A ghost in the machine we become as we wanna feast Either a damn shame we couldn't make it with plan A Or it's a fail safe bringing us back to the true Way Choose to see it how you want it But either way this is honest Either way you can make decisions again They're now upon us

Don't cross that street Without holding my hand Don't feed your fear Without hearing my plan

I move mountains on a time scale that you wouldn't understand But that doesn't mean that you've lost your chance

There's a man He hears the Truth

This Man Hears the truth

I'm moving at the speed of my imagination Baby I've been dealing with some constipation But that don't mean it isn't still a part of nature So once I let it go it's finally in our favor

I used to play all the shows But now I run on my toes I used to dig into debt But now I'm walking us home I used to fly myself to LA just to be in their zone I used to use the weed to numb the weight I felt on my soul

Then I fell in a hole It said I'd be in control It said I need to keep pushing to end up special and full I got addicted to the feeling that I'd never be whole I got the superstition that I'll keep on missing the goal

And I would pass out on the couch on the back porch Feet froze from the winter cold, my heart sore Keep that pattern till I need it no more Now I climb this ladder back home I know you ran I saw you go

The step steady Now every breath is enough Forget that it's feeling tough Remember to feel the One The effort disintegrated The payment is what I was Now I'm looking up above me For guidance in You I trust Might flail to the finish line Still a butterfly Imma transform never dying Dying was the lie If I can't soar higher Imma let go of the luggage All the stories I've been holding Now the true within will shine I know you ran I saw you go Do you know my plan? Take my hand and go The cold's brewing in the morning Doing pages at the stream It's been a year of inner training Now promotions at my feet

Will I wake up early, sweating, moving forward in the dream? I was ready for the change before I even took a seat

I've been ready to be saved But I'm in a body for this day Is it eroticism for the politicking in the play?

Really fallen like they told me in the stories that were made? Are we in the kali yuga spinning wheels around a grave?

Well if Heaven is in the relationship And a matter of the state we're in Then a geographical location isn't what we're after then

Come along with me and we can race another day again Open to the guidance coming from our Holy friend I know you ran I saw you go Do you know my plan? Take my hand and go I know you ran I saw you go Do you know my plan? Take my hand and go Rest your head now With your heart wide open Rest your head now With your heart wide open

Rest your head Rest your head Feel your heart Now we rest Rest your head Rest your head Feel your heart Now we rest

I started using this journal when I was 15 Now I'm more than double that age Still I'm here on the page Learn to the honor the rage And then it turns sweet We learn to the follow the pain with curiosity

I used to section off a part of me and buried it alive When it rose again I thought a zombie came into my mind We put so much effort into hiding from our reflection With entire bodies of bodies for our protection

Conduit for affection or catalyst for release Extravagant with the lesson Let's simplify it for peace: Is it love or is it fear? Is it love or is it fear? Is your action coming from the well of Love that's always here?

The words'll fail us as we go beyond The luggage left behind It cannot come to where we are So we melt into the recognition Melt into the one who listens Last step taken by the One who saw it all Rest your head now With your heart wide open Rest your head now With your heart wide open

Rest your head Rest your head Feel your heart Now we rest Rest your head Rest your head Feel your heart Now we rest Now we rest Now we rest
